Crystal therapy is a complementary therapy that works on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. Its holistic approach means the whole person is taken into account not just their symptoms. It promotes health by relaxing and re-energising the body. This creates a sense of wholeness and balance and helps the body heal itself. Crystal treatments are excellent for relieving stress and are very relaxing.
A thorough consultation is elicited to help determine which crystals are best suited the client’s individual needs and conditions. Once the appropriate crystals have been selected, the crystals are then placed on and/or around the client’s body. Each crystal resonates a different frequency of energy that can influence the energy field of the body, helping to remove blockages in order to bring the body and mind back into balance and to promote good health and well-being. Crystals with electromagnetic properties are believed to be able to transmit and receive energy, amplify our body’s self-healing ability, respond to thoughts and emotions, and help restore balance to parts of the body experiencing disease or disharmony.
Although crystal therapy is an effective treatment on its own, the use of Reiki and or colour therapy may further enhance the treatment.
